I'm not saying never cook for your husband, but sit down and talk to him about your priorities and maybe he can start making his own meals.

Whatever happens, you can't give up!! You are doing so good and you are fulfilling your goals - so go for it!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029689049331850972.post-90889903420617762942008-05-12T22:46:00.000-03:002008-05-12T22:46:00.000-03:00Javachick - woohoo on the gel overlays and the new...Javachick - woohoo on the gel overlays and the new clothes! Everyone needs a little pampering once in awhile.
Hope you can get hubby on board with the food issues. I can certainly relate - my hubby is one of those naturally thin types who eats whatever he wants. S...Hey JavaChick,

First, yay for your mini-overhaul. So glad that you bought yourself some new clothes and got your nails done. I've been doing the same thing with my clothes -- saying "I'm not going to buy anything new until I lose these 5/10 pounds" but it's been weeks now and I desperately need some new stuff.

The situation with your husband sounds very trying. My guy was resistant at first too (he doesn't need to lose weight but the foods he eats aren't always the most nutritious). It's amazing how he's been coming around lately though. At the beginning of this whole thing I think I had a talk with him about how important it was to me... and since then I've gently teased him about being whole-wheat-phobic, and encouraged him to try my healthy variations to show that they're not disgusting. And last night I came home to find him cooking dinner with whole wheat pasta!

Anyway, all this to say that sitting your hubby down and having another "this is extremely important to me, and here's what I need from you" talk sounds like it might help. Maybe leave out the "and it will help you lose weight too" portion out as people tend to be pretty sensitive about that.

I don't know what to advise on the fitness front... I am not too regular with it either :Pmeredihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14131263089527589627noreply@blogger.com
