First: ever since I typed yesterday's post title, I've had The Final Countdown by Europe stuck in my head. Just had to get that off my chest.
Second: I pulled the Favorite Jeans out of the closet this morning. I tried them on. Then I put them back in the closet. They pretty much fit the same way they did 30 days ago. I believe the technical term is Muffin Top. In this case, I would say Extreme Muffin Top. So not exactly a triumphant post to cap off my 30 days of hard work.
I would like to say something deep and meaningful at this point, but the truth is I just got home from my birthday dinner and I've had a couple or 3 margaritas so I may not be thinking clearly. What can I say? I had a good time.
As for The Favorite Jeans - I'll just keep trying. They really are great jeans and I'm not ready to give up on them just yet. So that's that.
The End.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Boo to the jeans, but yaaaaieeee to you for all of your hard work.
Give it time! I was pissed when my clothes didn't start falling off after I started working out regularly; it took months but they are FINALLY fitting better. However, I still have one specific pair that I want to fit into so I understand exactly how you feel. Occasionally I'll pull them on (up to my thighs) and then sigh & take them off again. Maybe those were just meant for another time...
Oh and, duh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday!
Sucks about the jeans, but you'll get into them eventually, now that you've got your exercise groove back!
