Speaking of Salsa...

I also made a small batch of tomato salsa on Sunday, the first of many for this fall I am sure...

Today after work I went out to the garden with my little basket and I found some Cinnamon Basil needing to be trimmed. Love the smell of this stuff!

I also picked some sugar snap peas, green beans and tomatoes. Unfortunately, the peas and beans are on the bottom, so you can't see them...

But here is a shot after I washed everything and put the peas and beans on top.

And the tomato & mozzarella salad we had with our supper tonight, with the Cinnamon Basil sprinkled on top of course. This was Husband's idea, though the execution was mine (he would have thrown it all on paper plates, I like to make it look pretty).

Your tomatoes are so much prettier than mine! *Waah*! And love the tomato and mozarella, drizzled with balsamic vinegar..... yum.
I grew cinnamon basil one year and loved the smell. Couldn't find any this year. ~~sigh~~

Every time I read your blog I'm more and more convinced we need to have a bigger garden and grow tomatoes next year (honestly, I only started liking tomatoes this year so before now it wasn't an issue). I love seeing pictures of your garde and the yummy stuff you grow and how it looks cooked! Keep up the awesome work.

Arggghhh! More vegetable porn! The Bag Lady's is bad enough.

But hey, I do have a small herb garden out on my balcony that is giving us great joy.
