That is Fred. He is a lighter, more silvery color than George. Also, George tends to stretch himself out on my lap, whereas Fred likes to settle himself right beside me and lean against me, like he is in this photo.
My oldest cat has, in recent weeks, started sleeping on the bed with me. He used to be content with curling up above my pillow, but in the last few days, he has decided he has to be right in my face!! Guess he wants to make sure all that hair he sheds makes it into my lungs! The other cat has always been more of a cuddler, but contents himself with sleeping leaning on my legs. He is a lap cat, whereas the other guy isn't.
Thanks Bag Lady. I think they are gorgeous too, but they are my cats so I suppose that is to be expected.
It's kind of like being the mother of twins - I can look at them and think they look so different, but people who don't see them all the time have trouble telling them apart. And sometimes, if I'm looking at them from behind it is a little hard to tell the difference. Aside from the slightly different coloring, and the fact that Fred is a little on the chubby side, the biggest difference is their faces.

Aww. He looks so completely content. Which one is that?

Oh, and forgot to say how gorgeous Fred is - not that the Bag Lady can tell them apart...so, actually, they are both gorgeous!
