Actually, it was a dark and rainy day.
This will have to be a quick post because it’s getting late and I’m tired.
No walks today – too rainy out.
We were expecting our lawn care & snow plow guy to drop by between 6 – 6:30 to discuss the contract for this year’s snow plowing and also the possibility of putting in a hedge, as he got a really good deal on some cedar trees. Our house is sort of up on a hill, and a hedge would give us some privacy.
So when I got home from work I puttered around, doing some tidying up around the house. I also had a little snack:
When Mr. Landscaper arrived, it was pouring down rain so we didn’t go out to look around the yard, which we had been planning on, but we did discuss some possibilities and now Husband and I have to think it over. We got chatting away and it ended up being after 7:30 by the time our guest left.
I came downstairs right away to get in my workout for today – a Strength Circuit which only took 20 minutes. On another day when I had more time I might do some extra cardio or some yoga, but for today this was the perfect length.
After my workout I ran upstairs to throw supper together. We had a salad with Chocolate Cherry Tomatoes (from my garden), cucumber and grapes (because I am finding the skins on these grapes too bitter for enjoyment so I wanted to use some up).
For the main course, I had defrosted some pasta sauce and we tried a new pasta:
What can I say? I thought it was pretty…
All together with parmesan cheese:
The pasta was not bad – the texture was pretty good. I could definitely detect a different flavor. I’ll have to try it again with a different type of sauce I think.
And I think that’s my day. I’m feeling really rushed right now and I need to go relax and get ready to sleep.
