Happy to have peaches again! I bought a basket on Sunday, and they seemed a little hard so I gave them a couple of days to get ripe…now they are starting to go bad so I’m trying to eat them as fast as I can. Which is ok, because I am quite happy to stuff my face with peaches…
Back to my favorite breakfast:
There’s about a peach and a half on top of my cereal, since I had to cut out some bad spots.
I met a friend for lunch today, which was a nice change from eating at my desk. We went to Lemongrass and I had the Curry Noodle Bowl from the lunch menu, with Green Curry. I didn’t get a picture, which was a shame since the presentation was very nice. It was also very tasty! But I only at half of it, then I was full.
Part way through the afternoon, I had a LaraBar. I confess, I did not actually take a picture – but you wouldn’t have known if I didn’t tell you! I knew I could just reuse a photo from another day.
After work I took Fred for a little walk. I’ve been trying to do it as soon as I get home, since it’s getting dark earlier and earlier. Here we are – me all glamorous in my dress trousers from work, tucked into my rubber boots.
Fred was in a wandering mood today. He was ready to forge right through into the wilderness…
But I’ve learned from experience that there are thorny bushes ahead, and you don’t want to be wandering through there when you are wearing your good clothes.
So we came back to the house and I changed into my workout gear and did my second to last Boot Camp workout.
There was leftover soup in the fridge, from last night, and I had leftovers from lunch, so supper was easy peasy!
Husband had the soup. I made myself a small salad and heated up my leftover noodles.
I made a small salad with romaine, cucumber and tomatoes. For a simple salad dressing, I chopped up a bit of ginger and serrano chili from the plant in my kitchen, and mixed in some seasoned rice vinegar and a bit of sesame oil. Done!
Then I settled in to watch Castle (or, as I like to call it, the Nathan Fillion show – he is just so much fun to watch).
I had made just a small salad, because I was thinking might like to have some yogurt with a sliced up peach for dessert, but I was quite content after finishing my salad and noodles, so I’m done for the night.

Your pictures always make everything look so yummy!! Glad you got some more peaches, 'cause I know you love 'em!
Yes I do love peaches! I was actually contemplating canning a few to see how that would turn out...
Stuffing oneself with peaches is always a worthy endeavor.
