Weekend Recap

 

I don’t have much in the way of food photos for the weekend – a lot of eating away from home where I didn’t get pictures.

Saturday morning I sat down with coffee and book – The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society  which I just love! I enjoyed my coffee, then did my final boot camp workout for the week.

Then I had a shower and something to eat:

Then it was time to get ready to go. I don’t have an actual photo of me, but I have photos of the dress and shoes I wore to the wedding.

I would have asked Husband to take a picture, but the wedding was at 2:00 and we were running late. Out the door around 1:30 and just made it in time. It actually started to rain just as we arrived, so we got wet going from the car to the church…and then it stopped and the sun started shining again.

It was sunny for most of the day, though definitely on the cool side.

We were out of the house from 1:30 to around midnight yesterday. It was a long day, but it was a fun wedding since a lot of our friends were there.

This morning I got up and had a very similar breakfast, except no peaches (I’m all out) and no workout between cups of coffee.

I spent the morning trying to get some housecleaning and laundry done, then we met up with friends for a late lunch. After lunch we stopped to do grocery shopping and at that point I was hit by a wave of exhaustion. It’s been a fun weekend, but I’m worn out – and it’s only 6:20 PM.

Since lunch was late and we’re both really tired, I doubt we’ll do much for supper; a snack if anything. I’m trying to convince myself to do a bit more house work, then I will probably curl up to watch a little TV or read a book. I suspect I’ll be in bed early tonight.

Last week of Fat Blasting Boot Camp  starts tomorrow. Can’t believe I’ve made it to the end. What ever will I do next week?
